Impressions of Nature

Impressions of Nature is a series of situated practices that explore the relationship between humans and the natural world through co-creation with the environment. It unfolds through an immersive engagement with the territory, where nature is not merely represented but becomes an active agent in the formation of the image.
The works are produced through experimental cyanotype on sensitised surfaces placed in direct contact with the landscape of the Argentine Pampas. Sunlight, water and site materials—soil, sediments, sand and vegetation—participate in the process. Each piece emerges from a unique encounter between time, matter and territory, in which nature leaves its trace.
Video works form an integral part of the research. Site-specific production takes on a performative dimension, as the body engages directly with the natural environment. The videos function simultaneously as artworks and as records of these actions.
In dialogue with land art practices, photography and video form a shared space for sensory experimentation in which time, body and matter converge.
